Anyone here who’s a pro at painting?
I am keen on trying something new for an accent wall .. but I dont want it to be just plain different color paint .. I have seen walls that have that two tone mixed look on the accent wall … how do they do it ?
any advise?
Check out hgtv website esp rate room. Also YouTube has tons of great videos. Sherwin Williams website is good too. Go to a reputable paint store and talk to the consultants there. They can tell you about different paint techniques. The Internet is a great resource.
Do also check out houzz. Com for ideas. Once you know what you like then you do a search on youtubcom. Good luck!

have you thought about using removable wallpaper? They have some really nice designs. I am thinking of getting one of these for an accent wall.

you mean in stripes? that's just two shades of paint they've painted on in, well, stripes :D

How about pearl paints? You paint is on the wall with a roller as you would with normal paint, and then make different effects on it, like criss cross brush strokes, or get a broom and do vertical lines in the paint.
