Walkman

Last night I was going through my shelf and I found my first ever walkman , the thing has been assaulted so many times, dropped so many times on so many surfaces, submerged in water yet it still works after all these years :naak:

Re: Walkman

Old faithful, eh?

I suggest you keep it another 50 years, by when it'll be vintage and worth loads more......

Re: Walkman

But I'll be long gone by then :(

Re: Walkman

sell it :D or pass it on to your grandchildren :@:

Re: Walkman

giv it to ur kids on their weddin n tell dem to pass it on to theirs n on n on .. n wiv dat ppl will remember u .. wen ur gone ..

Re: Walkman

You should keep it and put it in the will. So when the grandkids are big they'd all be like "omg check out my grandpa's old vintage music player! it's so COOL!!"

Re: Walkman

They’ll be arguing about my huge wealth :snooty:

Re: Walkman

Grandkids don’t get any of the wealth silly! They only get candy and obsolete pieces of technology

Re: Walkman

And my millions of ££££££££

Re: Walkman

No. That's being given to the grandmother.

Re: Walkman

i never had a walkman or an ipod.

Re: Walkman

so how did you enjoy the joy of music :chai:

Re: Walkman

Just googled “what to do with an old walkman” and got this as one of the results :cb: :

Relive the good old Walkman days
If you pull the guts out of an old Sony Walkman, you can stow your iPod in there and wear it around pretending it’s 1987 all over again. Hipster chic!

Don’t know if hipster is your thing, though :cb:

Re: Walkman

first on audio cassettes while busy studying and then computer. Later i always used my laptop with or without headphones and in additoin to that, partying at least 3 nights each week used to provide a good taste of high quality music.

These days, the only music i listen is local FM stations while i am busy driving.

Re: Walkman

I mi$$ my walkman!!!!!

MUCH BETTER QUALITY THAN THE DIGITAL TRASH OUT NOW!
