Walking in the Sun

Who is into it?. I am actually cross country runner but due to small injury at my knee i can’t run. But just recently i have started walking since weather is all good and perfect in Toronto. How many of you walk after dinner?. I actually lost lots of weight just my walking and eating healthy. And for those of you who needs to loose weight..i must recommend walking and of course eating healthy (in small portions).

Re: Walking in the Sun

I walk a mile back and fro but I didn't lose that much weight. I have to say my metabolism is a little better because of it.

Re: Walking in the Sun

strolling won't do much good if you wanna lose weight. brisk walking do wonders though.

Re: Walking in the Sun

Walking in the hot sun may damage your skin but in the bearable sunshine to take sun bath is best for the your body.Naturally you can have vitamin D which is the most essential elements for skin.

Re: Walking in the Sun

use a good sunblock/sunscreen with a high spf

do power walking/speed walking rather than just strolling, it's much easier on the joints than running and you'll definitely lose any weight or atleast keep the weight off if you're already in shape.

Face Cream

Re: Walking in the Sun

why do you need to walk in the sun, it’s so bad for the skin, if you really need to do speed walking do it in the evening or buy a treadmill if you can afford it but i wouldn’t do the sun walk

speed walking on treadmill with the level turned up all the way to 15 would get you losing like a 1000 calories in 2 hrs! depending on the speed of course, that’s what i do and i love it. it’s not too hard on the muscles or joints

Re: Walking in the Sun

Walk every day after dinner, feels great and keeps the weight off.
