Rates Michael Holding, Dennis Lillee and Malcolm Marshall as the three greatest fast bowlers of his generation

Holding and Akram the most naturally gifted fast bowlers

Rates Sunil Gavaskar more highly than Sachin and Dravid

Ranks Wasim higher than Waqar. Wasim was more talented, had more variety in his repertoire and lasted longer than Waqar although the latter was much stronger than Wasim physically and it was sheer force he had and during his peak 4 or 5 years Waqar was more lethal esp. unplayable with the old ball. Wasim could cut his pace down and still be very effective, Waqar when he cut his pace down became very easy to play

Inzi is right up there with Sachin, Lara, Ponting and Dravid etc.

Inzi is arguably the best batsman that Pakistan has produced. He is underrated as a batsman and the worst thing is he underrates himself. I don’t think he himself realises how great he has been or could have been. At his peak some of the strokes he played, I have n’t seen anyone playing those shots except Viv Richards. **Inzi is a left hander who bats right-handed…**wow

I agree with most things except the following:

I think Sachin is a better batsman than Gavaskar overall, more flamboyant (equally brilliant in both forms of the game. Gavaskar on the otherhand was at best an average one-day player). My only grievance with Tendu is that for the immense talent he has, he should have won more games in pressure situations for India (than he has). Gavaskar was perhaps a better batsman in tests because of his water-tight defence.

And I have always rated Miandad more highly than Inzi because the former made his runs against better bowlers and usu. delivered in pressure situations be it Tests, One-day internationals or the World Cup.
