Hi coming to Pak to get married. I plan on getting my Waimah outfit from there.

Can anyone advise on some places to go to in Rawalpindi/Isb…

I will have under a week to get it so order is out of the question.

Whats the place to check out… & also what are brides wearing on their walimah these days as I am slightly unsure with what to get.

^ if you are looking for designer you can check rani emaan or erum khan. full maxis and lenghas, anarkali everything in fashion for wedding. if you are not looking for designer than check murree road lot of stuff there like fashion ka ghr, zari palace, khan varity, mohsin and sons.

or check chinyere, mélange or l’atelier in isb they have ready made bridals also.

Any idea about Fashion ka ghar ? Any examples on bridals?

Cousin got a bridal from Fashion ka Ghar...gown/maxi thing...was ombre in cream/deep red and front was filled with work. They quoted about 3 lakhs...but bargaining brought it down to about i think 1.2 lakhs. Honestly...it was a gorgeous dress but Fashion ka Ghar do tend to rip people off. I went in for party wear...3 dresses each quoted for 1 lakh =/ It was ridiculous prices in terms of kaam etc.. i'd say be wary and shop around before committing.

Why dont you try lebas in jinnah super.
i found his work way better than FKG and prices are reasonable too.
take a pic of any thing you want...and they will make for you..
they do have many samples at their shop as well..
Zia who is the owner..is a very co operative n well behaved person..

Do you have any pics for the dress your cousin bought? I liked same Ombre outfits they made lately. That is why I was think.. you think 1.5 Lakhs would be too much for a good bridal ? am confused

No…it’s a good price, i just meant their work should be good enough for them to quote 3lakh+ on normal wedding dresses. And we really had to bargain hard…they weren’t budging!

I recently bought bridals for barat and walima from mohsin sons in Jinnah super.
We went to their murree road branch but didn't like anything. They had great variety at their f-7 branch.
Fashion ka that only prepare on order, from what I got to know during my shopping. And they are a rip off for those who are not experienced at bargaining. My SIL got her walima dress from them 2 years ago. The dress was quoted at price of 1.25 lac while my eldest SIL kept bargaining and got it for Rs 55000 only!!! We all thought it was unbelievable.

55000? seriously ? dont you think if you bargain so much they end up giving you dress which is not upto the quality?

They were gonna give the same thing, regardless of bargain or no bargain. What's more shocking to think is, they still made profit in those 55000.

Unless you are getting something off the shelf as it is that is in sale, generally quality suffers when you bargain too much. You might not notice the difference in terms of quality of the material used for a new outfit but give it sometime and the one with cheap quality material used will show.

I agree with Eastern dresses, they always ruin your dress! Am so worried for my nikkah outfit I have cermony in December and am looking for white dresses

for you nikkah i would suggest you to visit Elan or sonia azhar they have some very nice and elegant dresses for these events.

These days there are so many options to be consider, what is your budget? as there are top line designers and their range starts form 3 Lakh upto 1.5 M like Elan, HSY, Sana Safinaz, Sania Maskatiya and there are some other options available as well like kamdani, sonia azhar .etc.
