hi girls

i am getting married in three months and still can’t decide the colour of my walima lengha, im going all out with bright red and gold on wedding day

any ideas for walima…i have always loved peach but don’t know if it will go nicely with silver

thanks girls there is a orangy peach n a pinky peach iv seen them with gold n copper n dey luk really gud but da prb is that my wedding day lengha is really gold

its between peach or pastel green

i am inshallah getting married at the end of july and i will be wearing a pink magenta colour lenfgha with a hint of turquoise/pale blue inshallah, well thats what my fiancee side have choosen. It is two shade and with gold work on it, it is mermaid cut lengha with a beautiful long trail, i do love it. I have seen pictures it is georgeous but will see it for real in early july when i fly out for the wedding. So i would say these are colours to consider but go for light colours.

the silhouette for my lengha is mermaid shape too

i have ordered swatches of two peach shades and an unusual pink

will let you know how the swatches turn out n which one i go for

I think the sky is the limit on valima days...shaadi, mehndi and mayun are the days when you are pressured to observe a color like red, green and yellow.

Personally, I would say go with a color that suits your complexion more then anything else because even if its the IN thing, it wont look great if you dont feel great in it.

hey id say a pinky/peach colour…somat similar 2 dis.

but ere a few more designs…jus some unique color combos…but id defo say pink…

My cousins wife wore something similar to this on her Valima (same colors) and it looked amazing..!

I’d say wear something totally different than your baraat day color.. Usually it’s something lighter than baraat color..Something I’ve seen a lot.. pink-ish, white, ivory, peach, pastel green..

But I think feeling comfortable wearing a certain color is also very important..
