thank you so much with all the help you have all been giving me thus far- it has all been very helpful and comforting. I am now starting a new topic in regards to a walima dress.
I am looking for something in the blues and green shades.
Something more modern.
Could people please post pictures of any ideas/dress they like? Thank you!

PR!! I LOVE the idea of blue on the walima..something iām also contemplating.. i really want a lovely shade of turquoise like a proper āFiroziiā for my walima outfit..i remeber seeing some lovely turquoise pieces..will dig them out for you!!

PR what about that something like that gorgeous HSY number worn by the bride called Farwa, who wore the ivory coloured piece on her Walima? She wore turquoise on her barat day and her pictures were of particular fascination as her hubby was somewhat larger than her..yaad hai? THAT was stunning :)

it totally was!!!!!! and when i showed it to Mr. PR - he didn't really like it :( So any outfit he's not a fan of.... is not on the table. kya mushkilein hain.
He didn't like the ribbon detail... which is the part i liked!!!! LOL
