Wales

Born and bred in England but haven’t explored the rest of the UK …yes sad isn’t it. I think it’s about time I explored Scotland and Wales.

So people who have been to Wales, tell me about the main attractions, places to visit, accommodation and food places.

Thanks

Re: Wales

Walessssssssssss, My homeland! if your going to visit@

You can go to swansea, there is a nice marina and the mumbles beach, great if you love surfing.

Or Cardiff (the capital) theres loadsa things to do, the main attractions are: cardiff castle, st fagans, and castell coch.

Cardiff Bay is nice, there are lots of restaurants and nice scenery!

There not much else to say really....dont expect any Desi's, there are few Halal places here and there & THERE ARE NO SHEEP!

Bridgend is cool, there is a nice designer outlet there 'Mc Arthur Glen'!

Last but not Least.Barry Island...one of the most Tacky and shabby theme parks/ beach resorts you will ever come across, its fun for a day trip or two though!

Hope this helps!

Re: Wales

That’s cool thanks, all four places Cardff, Bridgend, Barry and Swansea are located quite close to each other.

How many days would cover all four places?

I can’t pronounce some of the names of the welsh places … :bummer:

Re: Wales

The North coast of Wales is my fave destination whenever i'm there.

Re: Wales

If you're in the Cardiff area, definitely go out to Chepstow, go visit Tintern Abbey and Chepstow castle, absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

Re: Wales

Explore the border of England and South Wales

Drive into Wales (if you're driving) through the Forest of Dean towards Chepstow and return on the Severn Bridge........

I've never been to Scotland, but we're insha allah going to a resort near Edinburgh in June. All booked and confirmed...can't wait!
