I was reading this news on BBC Urdu and one cannot deny the severity of the situation. Taliban are only 30 km away from Tarbela. If they take Tarbela and destroy it or shut it down, it will bring Pakistan down to it’s knees.
Wake up Pakistan. Taleban are a clear and present danger to the very existance of Pakistan.

well all discussing symptoms here, problem is not taliban want the islamic law, these taliban want to destabilise Pakistan. even if you give them all sharia they want, they will keep fighting cause thats their objective and thats what they are paid for!!
for of you here, Islamic law is part of Pakistan Law! nothing in Pakistani law that is against Islam! Muslim Family Law, Mohamddon Law, Hadood all are part of Pakistan Law that are used in Pakistani courts!

Stop living in 2001 dude, this is definitely our war.
We should take steps to defeat these talibans rather than discussing who created them, who supports them and what are their intentions etc.
They said they are fighting for Shariah lawin Swat, got what they wanted and now making their way towards other citicies.
Use media to take the whole nation in confidence and carry out an all out assault on them, who cares if they are supported by India, America or Afghanistan????

No one cared about taliban till a few months ago so that's obvious.
I haven't come across a single Pakistani who supports taliban.

I am the biggest Imran Khan fan and will still vote for him if ever given a chance but it doesn't mean i will agree with everything he says.

what they dont really mean, they were using the local demand as excuse to get local support, sharia is not what they want! as govt made deal there, they ran out of the excuse hence moving to other place carrying out same mission, destablising Pakistan!!
Strongly agree they should be crushed!!though hard as they hide in civilain areas!
