Now everybody on Facebook is making their status something like this (more or less fobby)..
Why now? Isn’t this what Quaid-e-Azam wanted from the beginning? WHAT NOOBS.
“What we want is not to talk about Bengali, Punjabi Sindhi, Baluchi, Pathan and so on. They are of course units. But I ask: have you forgotten the lesson that was taught to us thirteen hundred years ago? If I may point out, you are all outsiders here. Who were the original inhabitants of Bengal not those who are now living. So what is the use of saying “we are Bengalis, or Sindhis, or Pathans, or Punjabi”. No, we are Muslims.”
^brotherman......what you say is true.......but just go have a look at Pak Affairs forum......and you will see the 'maturest' of people having a go at each other based on ethinic differences.......so once in a while if 'anything' unites people....it comes off as a pleasant surprise......
btw....getting so worked up over game is beyond me....loosers need to get a life...
It is precisely because of messages like these people are used to mediocrity. We lost. We were *ing *. But no we're oh 'so proud of our boys'. Talk about low standards.
Because it's overrated. I'll accept we bowled really well as a team and did well against the better teams in group stages, but we cracked under the first sign of pressure. And our performance against India was disgraceful, it wasn't a good fight as many would have you believe.
Well only the best teams reach the semi-final / final stage and they did so by beating world class teams like Australia. So we should go a little easy on them.
We beat Australia because it was a group game. No pressure. Would've liked to see us beat them in quarters or semis. The only real knockout game we won was against a piss poor West Indies team. We have the talent and capability to beat anyone but we can't handle the pressure of the big occasion.
