I bought a very nice elegant waist chain in gold that has a dangling pendent on one side…

I bought it after getting real bad feedback from everywhere that navel piercing is tooooooooooooo painful…

I am thinking of wearing it with my saree…

any ideas, which color saree should I wear…to accentuate my waist chain…plus any pics of yourself where you are wearing any type of waist chain

where can i get them from Pakistan?
My mum has great chains from India which are antique style of all sort heavy, light and delicate, belly dancing etc...the ones you see in movies/dramas...she used to collect them when she was my age...but i can't find any good ones these days :(

i have a few waist chains or belts whteva u call em..n i luv the copper one with turquoise stones on it..i wear em wid formal kurtis mostly..but u can wear urs wid any dark colored sari like forest green,shocking pink or even black so that it stands out...

Thanks Panthr3ss for the advice, it turned out that my waist chain looked amazing with forest green sari that I borrwed from my cousin......now that I know that this color suits me....(never wore it before in sari) I would definitely go for it.....when...I dunno! but pwettttttttttyyyyy soooon

There is a lot of discussion about this in Africa in nairaland.com.
Although in India, wearing waist chains is common among women - even most men in some regions wear at least a black string/thread or a gold or silver waist chain. Mine is a gold chain and all colors match well with gold - probably the darker shades are slightly better.
