When I went to Lahore last time, I did go to Wagah border to see this. It really was spectacular. Although it is just a simple ceremony everyday, but I can remember every moment of it. It filled me with patriotism! It was also the first time I was able to see Indians right across the border. Trust me, the guards on the Pakistani side as shown in the picture made me proud of Pakistan.
its indeed a great ceremony and wakes up the patriotic feelings. the guards are real tigers. the army selects the tallest and most well built men for duty at the wagah border. id love to go and watch the gurad change in lahore sometime. but ive heard that they dont let you go near the gate or on the road whuile the ceremony is taking place and make u sit on the benches far away, is that right?
Yes^ Near the gate the guards are performing, so we are made to to be on the side where we have a good view of everything. The viewing area is not far away, they are just next to the gates. By the way, you know how our people are.....(no discipline), the guards have to make everyone to be in his place so that they could start on time. Otherwise everyone wants to be in the scene.
Well, I have seen this and its awesome! And at the end they also salute each other!!!

I visit the Wagah Border i think two years back and it was simply Zabardast, Excelent, awesome and what not what not.
I realy enjoyed the whole show and it realy arouse the patriotism. The person on duty they are realy tall and handsome and there every action is perfect. You will astonish to see there timings on both side of the borders.

I was in Pakiland just 2 months ago, and I had also seen this fabulous specticle at the Wagah border.
I remember this guy getting smacked by the army officials [beatin with a stick 
], because he was trying to get his way through the fence and the guard caught him n beat him infront of everyone there.
we went here last 14th august and recently a few weeks ago to see the ceremony they do at 7pm.
it's an amazing experience, seeing the other nations people on the other side of the gates.
