Agreed. I think that most muslims should agree on this. Many muslims are muslim and not necessarily following Barelvi, Shiah, Deobandi, etc line of thought. And that's cool. These schools of thought should make you think, not behave like inbred morons, like some people here are behaving towards one another. I am very disappointed in some of you and your behavior!
Barelvi, Shia or Deaobandi teaching does not promote killing .. its some stupid morons who on the name of these school f thoughts go out and do such stuff.
Its OK to follow a sect .. when you encounter Massa'il like Talaaq, Nikaah, Inheritacce, you do go to a scholar .. right?
Which scholar would you go to if you dont know which school of thought you belong to
Who do you think pays for the Madaris that are training these kids with hate? Did you see the videos made those kids before they blew themselves up to kill Shias - who do you think finances their maulvi's "education" trip to Madina? Saudis used their oil money to spread poison around the world. Once you start it, it is hard to stop.
I dont know bhai who finance that .. I know someone does finance terrorism, somehow I cant belive that its Saudi Govt.
But maybe you are right .. cause I dont know much about that
I'm not saying that Saudi govt finances "terrorism". However, it is like saying, I'll buy the kerosene and buy the match and teach my kids to burn stuff but it's not my responsibility if they go ahead and burn your house later.
If have thousands of brainwashed kids, all it takes is one or two clever madmen like Baitullah Mehsud and his ilk to turn them loose. The solution is to both get rid of the Baitullahs as well as eliminate the brainwashing centers funded by the Saudis.
I don't know about your behind, but I take my behind to an Islamic library and start doing some research when I fall into a situaion and need some religious guidance. I do NOT go off and rely on verbal instructions from some random man who grows a beard and calls himself a maulvi, because so many times have I run into the situation where they say one thing and when I look it up, there is much more to it. The Quran is a pretty solid legal document, when it comes down to it, and has enough clauses that can pretty much help you get out of whatever situation you're in. You just have to give it a chance and try reading it for once instead of running off to maulvis and like a little doggy with your tongue hanging out, nod and bark in approval at whatever "yo mullah" tells you. True there are different schools of thought, and we should embrace this diversity and look at the various interpretations instead of blindly following ONE school of thought. Herein lies our problems as muslims. This has divided us and nearly everyone's absolute assinine and immature behavior here is sheer proof of it.
As far as “wahabi” bashing is concerned, If any of you have read books of Muhammad ibn Abd-al-Wahhab:
Usuulu Thalaatha (The Three Fundamental Principles)
Adab al-Mashy Ila as-Salaa (Manners of Walking to the Prayer)
Usul al-Iman (Foundations of Faith)
Fada`il al-Islam (Excellent Virtues of Islam)
Fada`il al-Qur’an (Excellent Virtues of the Qur’an)
Kitab at-Tauhid (The Book of the Unity of God)
Kitab Kashf as-Shubuhat (The Book of Clarification of Uncertainties)
Majmu’a al-Hadith ‘Ala Abwab al-Fiqh {Compendium of the Hadith on the Main Topics of the Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence)}
Mukhtasar al-Iman (Literally Abridgement of the Faith, means the summarized version of a work on Faith)
Mukhtasar al-Insaf wa`l-Sharh al-Kabir (Abridgement of the Equity and the Great Explanation)
Mukhtasar Seerat ar-Rasul (Summarized Biography of the Prophet)
Mukhtasar al-Sawa`iq (Literally Summary of the Lightning bolt, it is a summary of a criticism of Shi’as written in Palestine by Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqalani).
Mukhtasar Fath al-Bari (Fath al-Bari is a commentary on the Sahih al-Bukhari by Ibn Hajar al-‘Asqalani).
Mukhtasar al-Minhaj (Summary of the Path, most likely referring to Minhaj al-Sunna by Ibn Taymiyya)
And found any anything that is against Quran and Sunnah in those books, then talk to me otherwise keep BSing.
No, you won’t find reference and encouragment of grave worship and saint worship and peeri fakeeri and milads… sorry, no gana bajana either. Ahmed Raza Khan or Khoemeni didn’t write these books.
Wahabis aren't much better either. My experience with wahabis has been that they seem to want to meddle in everyone's lives and control everyone with overly rigid rules using a very strict and often misguided interpretation of the Quran.
You know, there is another category out there. Its called "Muslim". :-)
Care to elaborate what that experience has been? Apart from reading Newsweek articles or watching Glen Beck? Which really does not count for experience...
Have you sat down with these 'Wahabis'?
First, explain to me what you think Wahabis are. Newsweek articles and Fox alerts will do in your case.
^ The first point i wanna mention to all of us who is on a Straight path. The extremism and the perception about Wahhabism is created is very much acknowledged on the faces of other groups or rather at times its fear.
I really dont understand what Wahhabism does. It is extreme in what way in following the Quran and the Sunnah or is it because it negates all the school of thoughts (which again is wrong) info.
Now people say wahhabies say others go to hell. Is anyone even gone to websites of other sects and seen/looked in their website, the ones agruing here have surely no knowledge what other sects talk about.
But may Allaah guide all the muslims
