Please refrain from assuming all my knowledge comes from brainwashing and US govt propaganda. They are intolerant fundamentalist extremists. That's all I have to know to realize that nukes in their hands would not be a good thing for the world.

Seminole, How exactly do you know that they are intolerant fundamentalist extremists? Did you not hear it from the media? Of course you did. Did you ever try to do some research on your own before believing in those lies that you hear from the media.I believe the first thing an educated man does, before forming an opinion about an issue, is to research or study the facts. Untill you know what Wahabisim is , your opinion is based on propoganda.

How could you possibly begin to know what researsch I've done or facts I know of Wahhabism? You pretend to know more than you really do, which is exactly what you are accusing me of. Stop being so presumptuous.

I dont have to assume anything, your statement "fundamentalist extremists" says it all. You cannot even define what Wahabis stand for. You can only repeat what you have heard and raed on this board.

The first thing I did after 9/11 was study extremist forms of Islam to try and gain an understanding to the mindset of the people who declared war against the US. You can google 'Wahhabism" and come up with over 24,000 pages. I stand by my statement of intolerant fundamentalist extremists. Trust me, my education and knowledge base is not limited to what I’ve read on this board.
Madhanee, I was not trying to say any such thing. I was only trying to find out if our friend seminole has an undertsanding of the philosphy of Wahabisim.
You gave your impression of not wahabisim, but Saudi Kings and their corrupt behavior. Do you think that Talebans were/are Wahabis? Obviously not, they were just some morons trying to hijack a peaceful religion and exploiting people’s emotions.
Wahabis believe that Islam was completed before the passing away of the prophet Muhammad:saw:. They do not add or subtract any practices into Islam. They do not equate any prophets of Allah to Allah Himself. They do not believe in Wasila. They preach that yous should learn and undertsand Quran. If something is unclear, and you are having trouble understanding it, yous hould consult sunnah. If you are still unable to find an answer, you pray to Allah to guide you in the right direction.
Now you tell me where is the fundamentalists, extremists factor is? If you do not agree with the above teachings, that is one thing but to label them as extremists and fundamelists or terrorists is not only unfair but irresponsible.
