Wahab was the most expensive of all our bowlers today. Should we keep him or bring in Akhtar? Today Rehman did well opening the bowling, what if he gets hit in next match, who will fit in for plan B?

I would also bring in Akhtar for Riaz. Seeing Lee's success today, Akhtar would have been a handful on this pitch
Batting has enough depth now - upto no 8, even Gul is no mug with the bat - with Asad Shafiq doing so well. Afridi desperately needs runs in the next game to help his own confidence

I tend to agree with Asif, though one the other hand if Rehman does well at top, then we know Akhtar can go for runs with older ball.

Wahab is good, but he still needs time to handle pressure situation. Akhtar should stay.

*I like Wahab's attitude, but nothing can match Shoaib's experience and wicket-taking ability. Just because he bowled a bad over against Ross Taylor doesn't mean that he's not fit enough for second and third spells (he has been bowling those consistently ever since the English tour last year). Shoaib should take his place, and that should be a no-brainer.

If one would listen to Wasim's commentary about Riaz, then at least he seems to think that Wahab has a big future so long as he can learn how to bring the ball into the right hander. Currently he only has an outswinger for right handers. He was showing how Wahab needs to change his grip and keep his wrist angled for right handers. Other than that he felt Wahab is a very good bowler.
Shoaib is the senior in this tournament and no way can the new comers come close to Shoaib. The question is only about bowling his quota of 10 overs with the same line/length and speed.

We should include Shoaib ONLY if he is fit enough to bowl 10 overs. There is no replacement for experience.
To his credit, Wahab was expensive in the end because on at least 3 occasions, it took the edge of the bat and flew over keeper for a boundary. So instead of 3 excellent deliveries, it added 12 runs to his stats.

From what I saw of Wahab Riaz, I also feel Shoaib Akhtar needs to be back in the team. His experience would be key in handling the likes of Gayle.

The dilemma for team managemnet could be that Akhtar is a better opening bowler while Wahab is better at the end.

That totally depends on the wicket.
For example, the colombo picket was bouncy and it seems that pakistani tour selectors couldnt figure it out before the start of match. In that match v/s Aussies, shoaib must had taken 2-3 wickets. Now Dhaka is something different. Its totally batting and slow pitch. I think neither shoaib nor wahab, it should be the spinner Saeed Ajmal in the team. Just like Dhoni did v/s WI, Pak should attack with the spinnner A.R. and later switch to Saeed and Hafeez and I'm pretty sure they'll tie WI down to a lower score.

Saeed Ajmal hasnt played for a while, too risky to bring him in and he will leak runs at the end. We have 3 spinners in AR, Afridi and Hafeez and 3 seamers, Gul, Wahab/Akhtar, Razzak, thats a good variety.
Not sure about opening with AR if its Gail, AR bowls better to right handers.

The way things are shaping up I believe Pakistan bowling lineup will be
Gul, Wahab, Razzaq, Ajmal, Hafeez and Afridi.

They wouldnt make any change. Neither Afridi nor Waqar are in favor of making any change in so called "winning combination".. which is a ridiculous idea in my opinion.
