well he was a very very famous,actually he still is very famous SUFI poet…his poetry is about ishq with Allah…

No neera, sis his poetry is about LOVE WITH ALLAH…so that goes for men/women…anyone can be in love with his/her creator!

Na koi humaari zaat poochain, aur na koi humai maanai
("maanai" in a way like people go to peer fakeer to get their things done, but he says lets go somewhere no one would ask him to get things done for him/her because thats something only Allah can do)

zainyaa namaazain, keechar roozai, kalmai par phigaie siyaahi(meaning it doesn't matter if you say 5 times prayer,fast and resite kalma all the time )

hmm last line kinda hard to translate in urdu, if someone can help me?
anyways,i'll explain the meaning
he is talking to himself and saying doesn't matter if i keep saying the kalma,read NAMAAZ and fast all the time, everything matters if and only IF it comes from the heart, this is all useless unless ur heart is involved with Allah,and you are ashiq of your creator

Y2Mu- yea junoon used baba bulleh shah’s poetry…hmmm but when i heard it, i realised, its better reading it than listening to it, the music didn’t go with the poetry…maybe its just me?

I agree with you , Junoon alothought did better job in singing but music didnt match.
they didnt really work on compostion of the music .otherwise it would have been mega hit.
