haal-e-dil hum bhi sunatey lekin
jub woh rukhsat howa tub yaad ayya

baith ker saya-e-gul mein nasir
hum bauhat roye jub woh yaad ayya.

Rani thee hee khoobsoorat lekin uss nay shaadi bhi kee toh sarfraz jaisay chawwal say.

Sarfaraz was her third husband, I think. Heard that he helped her when she was admitted in a hospital for cancer treatment

I think it was the other way round, she used to help him financially and as far as I can remember he abandoned her once she got ill.

You are right... He helped her morally for first time and left her when she was in critical condition during last days of her life.
