According to my bhai, a med student (mash'Allah), you shouldnt take any headache type medicine. However, if you are going to take it, have it after a regular meal. It doesnt have to be "a lot" of food.
yep might end up havin an upset stomach, that’s why in case you should eat before taking it

well a regular meal is alot of food hehe..like my dad wouldnt let me take it after eating a banana in the morning but i thought he was makin it up so i would eat more but i guess hes right..n yea like chorni asked wat do we do then

Oops, I just read this now. Well, my bhai suggests to sleep on it if you can, or massage the head. He suggests only taking medicine like tylenol if you absolutely need to. Tylenol doesn't hurt on empty stomach, nor does it have bad side effects.
If I need to take meds, I'd take it anytime unless it suggests that it should be taken after a meal.
I remember once I had to take a very strong antibiotic after meal, it would burn my stomach even after a full-meal. :s
