I guess the censor board doesn’t exist anymore in bollywood right?
The only bollywood channel I have is the b4u music channel and when I look at some of the music and movie videos most of them have really vulgar dance moves and the women are all wearing close to nothing while doing those dance moves. The weird thing is that the men are always fully dressed and have 6 or 7 half naked girls groping them. They’re always doing stripper moves. i guess the male directors are having a field day :CareBear:and none of the female actors are complaining:smack:.
what is up with all the vulgarity? when my parents stayed over and I kept that channel for them, it was so embarrassing for me and I had to change the channel a couple times:o.
Indopak, maybe kids should NOT be watching such mindless rubbish in the first place. Indian movies are cheap and third class, they dumb people down. Look at all these guys and girls on Gupshup who grew up on Indian movies, they have over romanticized views on marriage and relationships, all the drama etc, absolute waste of time.

ummm not all Indian movies are mindless rubbish there are quite a lot of very good movies that deal with certain societal issues. For example: Dor, Ghosla ka hosla, parzania and countless others so let's not go into insulting Indian movies please. There are already many threads on bashing Indian movies on here so you can post your insults there.
The issue here is censorship and why it isn't made an issue in bollywood.
Back in my school days [some 12 yrs back not so long either ] we use to sneak into Adult movie theaters something like a covert mission] and usually ended up watching few kisses.
But the amount of sexuality i see in todays movie promos or music videos would have been a absolute feast back then.

but there used to be a censor board right? because when I see old movies of the 70s and 80s and even the 90s there aren't as many half naked women and strip shows as there are now in the songs.

I'm guessing you were a teenager? Well I guess there is that fun in discovering those things when we are that old because it's something we can handle at that age and since there is no concept of sex education in India(I think), sometimes these movies work to explain certain things:D. These were labeled as adult movies but with the movie/remix song videos, they are there on tv for all to see without any restriction.
