Some things are beyond all formalities, interests and passions of life. Muhammad PBUH, doesn't need voting. He is a MUSLIMA HAQIQAT (true fact), can anyone deny it? I wont vote for him, he is beyond the personalities of centuries. He is the one centuries are written upon.

i) he is someone who lived 14 centuries ago
ii) how would u feel if muhammad gets less votes than nelson mendella (for instance) ..??

I don't want to involve Islam in every discussion but after reading your post, I MUST say something:

Absolutely wrong- On the day of judgement, it will be, like now, b/w Allah & the person. Everybody will be judged based on his acts and there absoulutely will be "NO SIFARISH". Only Allah, if he want, will decide who to forgive.

There must be some truth in it... but the whole mira'age story, as we've heard, might not be true.

magar phir bhee aap us contest main ja kay apna, islam ka, aur apnay pyaare nabi ka mazaak uraana chahte hain, to zaroor jaaen! aap kee merzi hai!

Mr ts, It is very true that most of the socalled muslim families are not following Islam, and that a major part of the so called pakistani/muslim society is based on hinduism. But, My dear friend, it is here important to distinguish between muslims and islam. It is true that none of the muslim countries today are following the shariya' law, but...isn't it true that the Quran today is still the same as it was 14 centuries ago? If a system fails because of misuse by the ppl, you cannot blame the system can you?
Yep, only God will decide whether to punish or not, but...do you know about the Taaif valley and the prophet? It is not for nothing that Mohammad is called Rehmat'ul'lil'aalameen....
