U can ONLY do that if M$ is open sourced and every single thing in it is tweaked to a point that assures me that i will not be sending out info about ma computer. I am what they call HYPER EXTRA SUPER WITH EXTRA ADDIITIONAL sensitivity to privacy. Not that i controll any nuking devices but u know.. remember the ‘Dangerous Gases’ poster?

yar Saadu bhai, SuSE is a euro-distro of linux.. its available in english as well ..

khair .. reason i like it among all the flavours i came across was because it full suite of apps contained just EVERYTHING i ever wanted.. no downloadings required, no nothing.. (aJ, yes i used to had its full 5-cd distro on me) :wink: .. khair .. i found some really neat features in that flavour.. live mp3 records without losing much of quality (over on a p133), good robust codings.. u knoww.. flying applications (replace terminology WINDOWS if u still wanna) ..

and oh well, networking ..

Well, no doubt.. Win2k rules.. I still use Windows 2000, besides XP as dualboot… But it has a few limitations. Like with my Soundblaster Live, I had no SP/DIF Sound when playing DVD’s

(No drivers made ever, so no support for SP/DIF sound) which in turn is the fault of Hardware manufecturers…
