Volunteering Abroad..

Has anyone travelled abroad to volunteer…like taking part in English Camps…or Building activities..

I would really love to travel to somewhere like Nepal to take part in some kind of project..for a couple of weeks…

just wondering if anyone has done it? If so, where did you go…and what kind of project did you take part in?

We found this site but its like over a grand…and I don’t have that kind of money right now :frowning: And I doubt my parents will offer to fund it :frowning:

But I’m sure it would be an awesome experience…and it’d look great on a university application.

InshaAllah in the future I’d get a chance to do something like this..

i dunno.. maybe we'll be able to put sum funds together - get it done before uni. Imagine writing it on our personal statement.. whoa

If we are gonna do it…its gotta be this Summer…:frowning: Personal statements are gonna have to be written before we go back next year…i dunno :bummer:

If only I had some savings :o i so wanna do this…

I feel bad asking him though - after the medsim debacle.....still gotta go to him tomorrow :|

You could always do volunteering in England if you do not have the funds to do it abroad.
