I use volumizing shampoos a lot hoping they will do the job and volumize my hair…however I read in a lot of threads that in order to get nice hair, you shouldn’t use volumizing shampoos, however I didn’t get why…can anyone explain this?

They're not good because they can leave substantial build-up on your hair and scalp. These products also dry your hair out and idk if you noticed but volumizing shampoos stop working even before you finish the bottle and then you end up trying a new brand. Try using a vinegar rinse once or twice a month to remove buildup from hair products.

The reason you should stay away from volumizing shampoos is because its a trick. The only way they volumize hair is by stripping your hair of its natural oils...thats how you get that fluffy look...because your hair is too dry. It hurts your hair.
