voice tone - varying

do any of you speak with a monotone? how does one improve one’s tone? sometimes i feel so out of energy, so completely lacking in passion, that everything i say comes out dull and deadpan… like it’s a voice coming out from an old broken tape recorder. are there any techniques for improving your voice?

Re: voice tone - varying

You have to practice inflections in your voice. Tape record yourself, and play the tapes back, and practice and experiment around.

Re: voice tone - varying

wunder when you come home today go to a nice park where no one can see you. Lay down on the cold grass and scream on top of your lungs. It does make you feel better.

Another thing. This world is fake put a show for them. I do it all the time sometimes its fun to act foolish and watch those retards acting like jerks.

Another thing that can strongly help a public speaking class. I havent stoped talking since then :D.

Sometimes reading out loud while standing in front of the mirror would help as well.

let me know what works

But if something died inside of you - i am sorry no one can change that but time will though...

Re: voice tone - varying

You can do one thing, buy a ‘matka’, and do riyaz in it, you soon will detect the scal where you sound best, and try to sing gana in that constant tone, when you will be able to sing a gana in that tone, speaking is no problem :silly:

Re: voice tone - varying

wunder all kidding aside it actually works.
My Professor was really good. If you are out of school i will suggest this club called ToastMasters. Its an international organization. Basically you will have bunch of people sitting in a room doing speeches. I got to meet nurses, Accountants, ROTC guy and what not i that club.

They also teach you: your body languguage. HOw to speak clearly and with meaning.
There are even books out there.
I think Toastmasters annual fee is $ 75 bucks. not a bad investment. Plus they also send you a magainze once a month. I loved reading speeches in there.

Well good luck
