Michael Jackson also had it and i saw one of his interview in which he said there is no cure...first he hide them with dark make up and later he hide it with light make up....i also heard that he had may plastic surguries but it got worse with those.....yea thats true mj used a cream and that cream is no longer available....mj got skin cancer coz of that and too many plastic surguries
tell your brother to stay away from sun ...thats what mj use to do...he use to carry an umbrella when he use to go out at day time....the sun shine make the skin worse
how old is your brother.....if he is young than he should try treatment in Pakistan....i heard one of my friend's cousin had it and she started taking herbal medication in pakistan and it got better....the patches didnt went away but it stops....because usually the patches will increase as you grow
