i have a vitiligo i have used black carway (kalonji) used its oil and apple vinegar for 15 days but no result plz tell what would i do my wedding is in dec i have taken lot of medicine bt no result PLZ does ANY ONE WHO HAVE THIS AND its cured?

The only cure I have heard of is in homeopathy. I dont know where you live, but if you can see a good homeopath that would help.

The other day, Dr. Afzal Lodhi, a dermatologist in Karachi, was on Dr. Shaista Wahidi's show...Besides other skin ailments, they also talked about Vitiligo. Dr. Lodhi said that these days, they are able to treat Vitiligo by translanting melanin into the skin area that is gone white. I don't have further detail on this topic but would suggest you to see him if you are in Karachi or any dermatologist in your area. Good luck with the treatment!

its autoimune disease mehroze.... the successful treatments are narrow band UV therapy these days..but its result is poor on hands n feet..i can quote an ayat to recite for its cure..

sunlight exposure aggravates vitiligo so avoid exposure to sun or use sun blocks ..n do take kalwanji as the first thing in morning..make it a habit..

Now a days there are lot of treatment and narrow band is good option and if area is big then melanocyte culture technique is best for vitiligo... think so

Vitiligo is a pigmentation disorder that affects the skin, causing it to gradually discolor. This discoloration can spread over the entire body, whitening the skin unnaturally. What exactly causes Vitiligo is still a subject of investigation, but in most cases it occurs in people who have family members who are diabetic, who suffer from thyroid disease or who themselves are Vitiligo patients.

White patches (depigmentation) on the skin are the foremost symbol of Vitiligo. The skin or cells do not produce enough melanin. For some people this can happen quickly, while for others the patches may stay the same for months or years. These patches are more common in sun-exposed areas that include hands, feet, arms, face, and lips. Other common areas are the armpits and groin, and around the mouth, eyes, nostrils, navel, and genitals. Vitiligo is not caused by an infection.It is not clear what causes Vitiligo. It is not infectious and you can’t catch it from contact with an affected person.

There are 3 patterns in which Vitiligo generally Vitiligo appears:
1.In segmental pattern the depigmented white patches develop on only one side of the body.
2.In focal pattern the depigmentation is limited to one or only a few areas.
3.In generalized pattern the depigmentation occurs symmetrically on both sides of the body. It is the most common pattern.

                                                       HOME REMEDY FOR LEUCODERMA

I have a home remedy for Leucoderma.I know someone who has tried
this and is totally cured.
Juice of white onion = 1 table spoon
(crush onion and squeeze it to get juice). Take this juice early morning
before 30 to 40 minutes of breakfast . After a few months you will see
the difference. Have patience and dont stop the treatment until u get
COMPLETELY CURED .
