I have found that taking vitamin B complex has helped my hair in a big way...due to thyroid problems i suffered terrible hair loss for a while it depressed me, so after some continous research i started taking vit b complex once a day and noticed improvement in hair loss after a couple of months....
I stopped taking it for a while out of laziness :-p and hair loss came back-now i dont think that stopping my vit B tablets were the cause of the recurring hairloss all i know is that these tablets have definitly helped in making my hair stronger
where i used to lose 200-300 hairs a day just with gentle combing for nearly a year Mashallah i am now losing only around 20 strands when i brush and straighten my hair in the mornings :-)
as DIWANA kisi ka says they are water soluble so will normally never cause you any harm as any excess vitamin that your body does not need will most definetly be flushed out
I take a multi vitamin, Omega fish oil, Calcium, vitamin C and Evening primrose oil. yes, you don't need a mutivitamin if you eat healthy and balanaced eachj day. But few people do, I ceratinly don't, at least not every day. I have to find the non gelatin kijnd at Whole Foods, some I can find sans gelatin at the local Drugstore too.
Vit B-Complex with vit C & folic acid (once a day) Calcium (2 times a day),Multi vit with iron (one a day )and omega-3 & 6 Fish oil capsules .* I have these daily.*

i have bee losing hair alot i thought its due to use of GHD for a long time but someone told me to take b12 so i started nuerobion but i i stopped after 2 months cuz another person told me tht i shldn take for longer period . i noticed wen i was taking tablets hairfall decreased but now it has increased BADLY. i do have thyroid issue but wenever i get tested it says normanl i.e i don have hyper or hypo thyroidism. secondly, my mom famly has calcium defieicney too. now i wana know which multivit i shld take. we have GNC shop in karachi should i buy from there or can anyone recommend good local brands for hair loss, dull skin. vitamin d and iron
yea i take them but instead of losing weight when i was eating diet food, i was gaining weight which was so strange, how can the weight go up with vitamins?
i take iron tablets, and now have been prescribed with taking vitamin D 400mg twice a day ( said i was so low that if i was a child i would have rickets!)
