i want to ask you guys wether vitamin E or almond oil is better to get rid of dark circles>???
and i have oily skin at my cheeks and got some acne scars. so can i apply vitamin E capsule oil there too?? or will it cause me to breakout more.

oh n retin A is effective for me.....its my first week and i can see my skin peeling. though the scars are not fading as yet but still i didnot have super yuk breakouts :) even during the special times lol so i guess its helping.but its hard to wait for 2months to get visible results :(
You may alternate between vitamin E oil and almond oil for u're dark circles.. if u're getting treatment done please don't use either on u're face/scars.

vitamin E oil is a bit heavy, and greasy, but omg it's such a brilliant moisturizer! and great for those pesky acne scars as well. i have oily skin too, so i tend to use the vitamin E oil before i go to sleep. with that you have to exfoliate as well, to increase the turn over rate of the new skin, as well as get rid of the old dead skin. i dunno how almond oil is, cuz i've never used it =/
Khumi, she asked for under-eye circles.. however retin A is very drying and vitamin E is great.

as in if m using retin A and i wear it off after an hour. cant i apply almond oil or vitamin E oil laters???

well yes i wanted to use it too but this girl told me you have oily skin and dont use vitamin E oil. it will cause more breakouts. did it cause more frequent breakouts on your face?

hey i dont apply retin A around my eyes by the way. it said you are not supposed to apply it around your eyes nose and lips

not sure for dark circles, but for under-eye is again a great moisturizer
no…i don’t have breakouts after i use vit E oil. not even extra blackheads or something. like i said, i use it at night, and on a clean face, and not like a whole bunch either. just so it gets almost absorbed (since vit E doesn’t easily absorb into the skin)

anyways, i wouldn't recommend it. i find my skin's a bit sensitive after i used a cream like that, so i would wait a few more hours, and then apply it. do re-use your cream however during the day occasionally, to have the maximal effect

yes its retin A with tretinoin something...n its 0.05% :S and i was not told by my doctor to use the cream more than once a day for 1hr only. because my skin tends to be a sensitive one i guess. anyways.....i guess i can apply vitamin E oil under eye and take it oraly too. because then it wont have any contact with the cream

but don’t worry, bro went through with such problems too, but he was less diligent with his medication than i ever was.
ermm ok then in your case, follow the doc’s instructions, but like i said before, i would recommend using the medication often during the day. all that stuff seems to work somehow that way the best. as for ingesting vitamin E, erm i don’t think it will have any effect on the scarring, as topical application works better IMO.
btw, are you using a regular moisturizer as well? it’s very very veryyyyyyy important to use moisturizer to combat with the peeling and the other drying effects. i’ve been using cetaphil for years, so that’s what i can recommend you. i remember the peeling only too well

hey i didnt know khumar is a girl's name. anyhow sorry about that :)
and yes i do use a regular moisturizer st ives whipped silk one. its very effective. and thats why i dont have to suffer from peeling much :)
and next time i visit mydoctor i will ask him if i can apply vitamin E oil directly while using this cream too.

almond oil really doesn't bring a whole lot of change for me in terms skin, on hair it's great.
