Vitamin E oil

Hi all,

I need some advice please. Since after pregnancy, the skin under my eyes has loosened a bit and I need to do something to tone it or care for it to avoid early wrinkles.

someone recommended using Pure vitamin E oil under the eyes. I am doing that now since a week. Plus my usual routine of using pure Aloe vera gel.

I want to know if anyone has experience of using Pure Vit E oil on the skin. Did they feel any difference?

Re: Vitamin E oil

Vitamin E oil is incredibly moisturizing & has some antioxidant properties….but as far as I know, it has never actually been proven to prevent/reduce wrinkles. I use it as one of the ingredients in my Vitamin C serum but have never used it on its own.

You should get a vitamin C serum. Apply it every morning along with sunscreen on your entire face/neck. Wear sunglasses anytime you go out. I make my own serum but I’ll post a link below for a serum that’s reasonably priced and gets good reviews (the ingredients look great). You will see a difference using a vitamin c serum faster than vitamin E oil. Make sure you keep the serum in a dark/cool place so make it last longer (I keep mind in the refrigerator).

If you’re not pregnant or breast-feeding, you should get .025% Retin A cream (I buy mine at All day chemist). This is the ONLY thing that’s actually been approved by FDA for wrinkles.

Other than ADC, plenty of online pharmacies sell it. If you’re not comfortable buying it online…then the other 2 options are to have a relative from back home mail it OR buy it from any pharmacy. In the U.S., this requires a doctor’s prescription & from what I’m told, tends to be quite expensive since insurance doesn’t cover it.
