Vitamin C Powder :(

its not doing any good to my skin :frowning: i am SAD

i’ve been using it for about 1 week, at night

i just take 1/4 tea-spoon, mix it in water, then put a little drop of lotion, mix it and then apply it on

But its making no difference :"( infact when i see my previous pics, i say god i had a good even complexion…

is there a chance that Vitamin C powder is making me go tan or something???

i use fresh mixture everyday

sigh

Re: Vitamin C Powder :(

I'm really sorry to hear its not working for you, what kind of Vitamin C powder are you using? I used it by mixing it with glycerin, and it worked really well for me. And yes I did end up getting a slight tan and my nails turned a not so nice orangy colour so do keep the mixture away from the nails. Also can I ask what kind of skin tone you have? if you find tht it has left you skin in a worse condition then maybe its a good idea to stop using it for a while.

Re: Vitamin C Powder :frowning:

hmm i had a quite “acha walla” complexion plus skin too :hinna: i mean i had a fair complexion not too gori, but a nice well fair complexion

khair, its not making my skin bad or rough its just hmmm i dont see any glow, any brightness even after using it … my face is losing the glow it had… maybe its the age factor :fatee: or whatever… so i thought this Vit. C would help me regain my lost beauty hehe well :teary3:

its the one from holland and barret…

and now its making no difference :frowning: and to top all that a few days back i was watching my pictures from like 2 years back, and i just noticed wow i had a geart skin n complexion and my husband said the same thing to me " hey u lost ur brightness" to which i replied “YOU made me lose my brightness” :faris:

i now wish to use olive oil… but well i am SADDDDDD becoz i just was in love with vitamic C after reading ur views :sid: and i made a hugeeeeeeeee fuss to order it from UK and get it to Pakistan urggggggggggggg :teary2:

Re: Vitamin C Powder :(

I am using it too for 2 weeks now and I also cannot say my skin is glowing or anything.
I am using turbo booster vitamin C from philosophy. Its not pure vitamin C but it is supposed to be used the same way. That is prepare it fresh everyday and all.
I read reviews for it and to be honest I have never seen so many positive reviews for one thing. It seems like everyone thinks this works so I believe that it must be working. May be the result is not obvious for some in a week or two or may be you already started with a good skin so you do not notice the difference.
Even though I did not notice anything, a colleague of mine told me that my skin looks fresher and nice so ask someone who does not see you everyday and may be they can tell you if there is a difference or not.
Or take a picture and then after using this for a week or 2 take a picture again and see if there is a difference.
Vitamin C helps skin anyways so even if you are not seeing glowing skin, the vitamin C is definitely helping your skin.

Re: Vitamin C Powder :(

Great its working for you too :)

Thx for the input :)

By they way, i was thinking about mixing vitamin E oil ( The Body Shop) in addition to the vitamin C powder and water Mixture... any opinions?
because my skin is getting dry, and i read vit E is supposed to moisturize the skin, so thought of adding that

let's see :)

Re: Vitamin C Powder :(

I have been usign it for a week too with no such visible results. in fact after the first day of usage, I got small pimples and white heads on my face. I figured it must be because of glycerine as it is oily. After that I didint use glycerine, just water and vit c powder, and no more pimples or white heads!

did anyone else face these side effects?
