For the past few years everything has been almost fine for me! I find that eating from little places, i.e. small shops on streets where food is made infront of us helps a lot and I nor my brother have had any problems!
I don’t get it though, people never get ill when they come to UK when it comes to food yet literally most people when going to Pak get upset tummies
This time around I have gone through an eye infection, a bad case of rashes, a case of swollen something, a bad case of gastroenteritis and again a bad case of food poisoning. I have gone to the hospital like so many times, the whole National Hospital probably knows me!
i had a tummy upset and apart from that thats about it....ahh dun i just missing my days spending in toilets instead of enjoying....omg....the public toilet are so ewwwwwwwwwwwww....ok i feel sick....>:(
p.s. i didnt mean to sound freaky or anything,...!
i think we’ve gotten used to how it is outside of south asia, clean rest areas every couple of miles is a gift from God
even in india traveling can be a major problem since you have to go hunting for clean washrooms, my little 4 yr old niece had some major issues using the public bathrooms, they were:teary2:, she’s just a lil kid so it’s not snobbishness.
you have to almost pray you’re stomach doesn’t have a reaction to the food.
Unfortunately public toilets everywhere are disgusting, aside form the ones in Unis...the ones in schools, train stations, trains sometimes, restaurants are very unclean
All the stomach upsets and Gastroenteritis is alll pretty much to do with dirty water and dirty food. The water is contaminated with sweage...the fruits and veg, ice, plates and glasses are all washed using this water....so thats why u get ill.
In pak i avoid....drinks with ice, raw foods unless i wash them myself in mineral water, and try and not eat at really dirty places...i also avoid dairy, cream products as they have alot of water mixed into them.
Whenever i sneak some naughty salad in a burger or some dessert at a restaurant i always get very very ill :(
I think if you do not go to Pakistan often, you do get very ill. Ive seen it my familia. I think its being sensible than anything else. Make sure you eat foods that require little contact with water. Foods that are BBQ are better too.
