How long does it take to get one if you want to come from pakistan to the usa just to visit?

hmmm thats kind of difficult to get from Pakistan especially in current scenario. But still if you have good bank balance, strong financial ties with PAK and a clean personal record, give it a try, do apply and pray for it. Sometimes its all LUCK ;)

the problem is that, there is no guarantee what so ever, even if you have enough money and best of ties with Pakistan. They treat every case the same way..... Its pure luck,, I have seen ppl waiting for more than two years now for their visas in Pakistan. and yes sometime you can get it in a week as well.

Dude, you need to mention whats your starting point. I'm at which step you are at,right now. Got the visa, Planning for visa, thinking about it or waiting for the interview..etc ?
I think you should start considering this question only when you get the visa in your hand.
