I have a question about Pakistan Visa.

My US Passport is expiring in May, 08. So I am applying for the renewal of passport tomorrow. This old Passport has visa for Pakistan til June 08. When I receive the new passport can I use that old Passport with Pakistan visa. Or do I need to get a visa on the new Passport?
I’m going to Pakistan in April 08 for about 3 weeks. So I’ll come back before visa or passprt expires. I’am getting a new passport just in case. But I don’t want to go to NY to get visa on new passport if I don’t have to.

And also, my dad has NICOP. I hear you don’t need a visa if you have this. How does that work.

I’ll appreciate any help. Thanks.

You don't need to get a new visa. You can simply attach the old passport with the visa to the new passport and carry both of them with you when you travel. Its a pretty common practice.

You should just apply for NICOP/POC and be done with visas.
