Re: Visa for DUBAI

I believe you would get visa on arrival!

There are 33 countries whose nationals get a UAE visa on arrival. And France is one of them.

The on-arrival visa will be valid for one month and is free of charge.

Stay in Pakistan,

Re: Visa for DUBAI

Thanks for replying

I am travelling to Dubai - UAE later this month and will be staying for 3 nights before traveling to Jeddah. Emirates can not get me transit visa as I am using a different airline for Jeddah. I have made the booking with the hotel and asked them for the visa but they are asking for big deposit (£800-£1000). I don't think that much deposit is justified for the transit visa. I would like to check if somebody needed the visa and booked the hotel and got the visa on the airport, what are the chances to get the visa on the Dubai airport for 3 nights when I have hotel booking confirmation.

Just to add I am permanant resident in UK but have pakistani passport.

The free on-arrival visa is only given to the nationals of those 33 countries I mentioned earlier and it doesn't matter where your residence is. Only your passport does. Pakistan is not one of those 33 countries.

Re: Visa for DUBAI

Does that mean people with pakistani passport will get on-arrival visa for dubai if they are going to stay for a week??

Re: Visa for DUBAI

No they will not. They will have to be sponsored by an establishment or a person.

Re: Visa for DUBAI

Read my message again. I wrote "Pakistan is not one of those 33 countries."

That means you can not get a Visa On Arrival with a Pakistani Passport.

Re: Visa for DUBAI

oops . .my bad..
How long it takes to get the tourist visa from the dubai embassy in pakistan?

Re: Visa for DUBAI

We dont know anyone in dubai.. want to go there for honeymoon. Is the visa process quick, unlike other countries visa?

Re: Visa for DUBAI

Yeah, the visa process is very quick. You'll have to contact the hotel where you'll be staying. They should be able to sort it out for you real quick.

Re: Visa for DUBAI

I love Dubai :D

Re: Visa for DUBAI

Embassy directly doesn't issue you the visa. You need to apply for visa through a travel agent.

Visa process is quick. It takes maximum of 2 to 3 days to issue you the visa from the date of submission. But the processing days exclude Friday and Saturday, which is public holiday in Dubai, therefore Dubai Immigration doesn't process any visa on those 2 days of week.
