Re: Visa Application

Hi Skauser- have a look at this:
Partners of British citizens and people settled in the United Kingdom

If you are in a relationship with a person who is settled here, or is applying to settle here, you can apply for permission to enter or remain in the United Kingdom with a view to settlement as his/her:

If your application as a husband, wife, civil partner or unmarried/same-sex partner is successful, we will grant you permission to enter and live here for two years. Shortly before the end of these two years, you will be able to apply for permission to live permanently (also known as ‘indefinite leave to remain’) in the United Kingdom as a partner.
If your application as a fiance(e) or proposed civil partner is successful, we will grant you permission to enter and live here for six months whle you get married or register your civil partnership. You can then apply to switch into the category of husband, wife or civil partner.
If you are a British citizen or settled in the United Kingdom and your partner has permission to enter or remain in one of the above categories, you must tell us if your relationship breaks down permanently before he/she has been given indefinite leave to remain.
We will not give you permission to enter or remain in the United Kingdom in any of the above categories if you or your husband, wife or partner will be aged under 21 on the date when you would arrive in the United Kingdom or the date when your permission to enter or remain would be given. For more information about the minimum age for applications as a partner, see New arrangements for partners.
If you were given permission to enter or remain as a partner under the old Immigration Rules (which had a minimum age of 18) and you want to apply to settle in the United Kingdom, we will consider your application under the old Rules.
Partners of people who have limited permission to enter or remain in the United Kingdom as a worker or a student

If you want to apply for permission to enter or remain in the United Kingdom as the partner of a migrant who has permission or is applying for permission to work in the United Kingdom, go to our Working in the United Kingdom section. Select your partner’s worker category and select ‘Applications by dependants’ or ‘Dependants’ in the menu on the left side of the page.
If you want to apply for permission to enter or remain in the United Kingdom as the partner of a migrant who has permission or is applying for permission to study in the United Kingdom, go to our Studying in the United Kingdom section.

Contact British Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) Home and downnload relevant forms- Good luck

Re: Visa Application

You will need the relevant application form and fee which your husband will need to submit at the BHC in pak (usually islamabad but depends on where you nearest one is) along with:

  • the application fee
  • his passport and 2 x passport pictures
  • a certified copy of your UK passport and certified copy of your birth certificate (take these along to any solictors who will give you certified copies for a small fee)
  • your original nikkahname
  • a translated and attested copy of your nikkahnama
  • your proof of earnings here in the UK - usually the last six months worth of payslips.
  • your bank statements - last six months worth
  • accomadation details i.e mortgage statement or tenancy agreement. If you are providing a tenancy agreement then also get a letter from your landlord stating that they give permission for your husband to reside in the property as well, or alternatively get the tenancy drawn up in joint names from the beginning.
  • wedding pictures and a few other pictures pre/post wedding
  • proof of contact and established relationship such as letters exchanged, phone bills etc etc

Your husband will also need to make an appointment to have his fingerprint scans done at the BHC, you will need the certificate they issue upon completion of this to accompany your visa application.

Good luck!

It can actually be done without the need for lawyers, the process is quite straightforward, follow poppies and britchick's advice.

Re: Visa Application

You don't need a lawyer for this, unless you fancy spending £500 + VAT just to get someoe to fill out the forms neatly for you and check over the supporting documents which you will provide yourself anyway. Also, you will still have to arrange having the forms and documents sent to pak yourself which can be quite costly if you go with a courier company.

There are no immigration lawyers here who will prepare the whole case for you to the extent where all you have to do is pay them, in which case why not just save the money and fill in the forms yourself anyway.

Thanks i just need a list of every single document i will need to send to my husband for him to submit his case.

Re: Visa Application

Well that list is one that generally covers all the areas that the application requires to be proved, however it does need to be 'tweaked' a little according to the personal circumstances of each application.
