Does anyone know of any accredited virtual university either of Pakistan, USA or anyother country which would allow international studetns.

I think VU in Lahore is recognized .. Not sure though but worth investigating perhaps ..:hmmm:

I did some research for my nephew and found many . Unfortunately I did not save my research so I cannot share it here now. But my point is there are many just do some diligent Internet search.

how do u find out whether a university is recognized or not and whether its degree will hold any value in the business world?

university of london, university of liverpool in UK
a number in US have fully distance education programs
to find out whether a university is recognized or not, you have to find out what the recognizing authority is for that area and check their records
as far as value, look for that unis placement records, value in business world could vary based ion where you are, some unis are strong in the country but not externally or even within the country they have strong regional presence but may not be known as well in other parts on the country. go with a uni that is wellknown in general and atleast that should help overcome the hurdle of making someone understand that it is a real university
