Well she has no qualms about sex; to her it was just another mundane physical act, albeit pleasurable, but one deprived of any emotional and/or spiritual connection. Accordingly, most men, at a very basic level, also treat sex the same way.

This is in continuation of what Aaloo Chat started, but more of a personal observation.
This is 20 yrs ago, Karachi. I knew this girl who was raised in very unbalanced circumstances. 5 sisters, 2 brothers, father disappeared one day and never came back. Mother raised the kids by working for a welfare organization where she used to go to new mothers of poor families and give them small boxes of cereals to eat. In the night, she used to bring left over boxes home and this girl and her siblings used to eat that for dinner.
After they grew up, this girl worked towards going to the medical college and got the admission. Her older brother at that time got into some trouble with the law and the police inspector who was dealing with that case started coming to their home. This girl needed 2000 rupees to buy the first year of medical college text books. Obviously, her mother did not have that money. This police inspector told her that he can help her if she can spend sometime in a hotel room with her. She did (off course they had sex). Later that day, the guy took her to the Urdu Bazaar and bought all the text books for her.
Long story short, when it comes to girls selling their virginity for taking care of their student expenses, the sadness is not very far from home and its nothing new, either.

When people make decsions, the decsions seem so justified at that time. Human mind is a very complexed thing. I am not sure what was going through that girls mind. I was so sad and depressed when she told me that story, I did not even ask her any further.
