I agree with you, the way people of Karachi reacted to Altaf Hussain’s speech surely tells that era of Altaf Hussain has ended and it ended because Altaf Hussain’s Pakistan Murdabaad slogan…
Excellent reason to end it…specially from the party which used to say " Manzil nahi Rehnuma Chahiyee" …
Hope the new leadership would use its head and work the better Pakistan and Karachi.
So Altaf is back…for 4 million time, he is back again…and Farooq Sattar and others were playing games…condeming statement amd not yhe person issuing it is like condemning a bomb blast but praising the master mind…
What a shame…MQM habe proved that all allegationa against them were right…they are RAW sponsored and Altaf Hussain’s task is to create chaos
Farooq sattar need to be clear like mustafa kamal. Amir liaqut wanted to be but seems they cannot withstand the pressure.
Anyways voter of khi has seen it . Hopefully they will take correct decision.
Amir liaqat has resigned that tells party leaders from their hearts still consider AH chief. Also they fear chittrol by workers who listen to AH only. So nothing has chnaged. AH has said such things several times.
Bhai, may najumi tou nahi. I only analyse what I see and hear, and then give comment what i think is likely or possibly to happen.
You asked, so I am putting down what I think could happen.
I still feel that what I wrote could happen. Altaf with his stupid and unconstrained speeches, is making party of Mustafa Kamal stronger.
Obviously, Karachi is different from Punjab, interior Sindh, Baluchistan or KPK, thus I do not think Karachi would fall in the lap of those parties whose motto is:
‘Bhooko’ (jhoot, galazat, dhoka aur wada),
‘Looto’ (Pakistan kee daulat aur ghareebon ka khoon … jis ka bara hissa jama karo mulk kay bahar)
aur zaroorat paray tou
‘Phooto’ (Mulk say bahar … London, Dubai, Jeddah …).
So, if MQM would get weak (as such stupid and unconstrained speech would do) than party of Mustafa would become strong … though pushing MQM aside would not be easy … and could not happen without the help of MQM, especially Altaf, himself.
As for present situation, nothing has changed … other than MQM got much weaker than when it was before speech… but that does not mean, any other political party whose motto are ‘Bhooko, looto aur phir Phooto’ would get accepted.
Dont read to much into it, he was defending Altaf Hussain alone…
Today he saw not much there so he left them, tomorrow he can join them again…like he left GEO saying it is anti-pakistan or state tv and later when money was right…he re-joined them
