VIOLENCE - Religously Sanctioned or Random

Jazakullahu khair Sholay for that last post. Your fingers deserve a well-earned rest after all that typing. Is the steam still rising from your keyboard? :)

Unfortunately, you've confirmed my suspiscions.

You really don't get it, do you!

You mistake Qur'aanic ayats with A'Hadeeth.

You honestly, believe my post was a copy'n'paste.

And you still refuse to acknowledge your errors.

Nevermind. A leopard will never change its spots!!!!

You've been given the ayahs within their correct context and synopsis, and it's up to you to accept or overlook.

Your problem, not mine!

Finally, its you who's got a problem with the Qur'aan and not us. Muslims accept the Qur'aan in it's entirety, regardless of when any ayahs were revealed.

Heres one for that describes you:

5:82. Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.

No need to ask for an explanation, it's very clear!!!!

Peace.

And you've confirmed my suspicions too hafeez123!

What is it that you're after?

hafeez123, i would like to strongly bring to your attention, that in future, when quoting Qur'anic verses make sure you check the referencing. You quoted verse 29 of Surah Tauba as:

"[at-Taubah 9:29] Fight those who believe not in God nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by God and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued."

... but then you quoted the very same verse as saying:

"[9:29] Fight People of the Book (Christians and Jews), who do not accept the religion of the truth (Islam), until they pay tribute (penalty tax) by hand, being inferior. "

I'll let you know that i've deleted whole posts in the past for misquoting the Qur'an. Yes, it is possible that one makes a mistake, but this is a public forum where misquotation can easily mislead others. In future make sure you check, and double check, before you quote religious scriptures.

Anyway, i think Iqbal and Sholay have concluded, wa jazaahumAllaahu khaira.

... i'm locking this one up!

Sentinel.
