Violence & Assault

Huge put-offs as far as I’m concerned. If I witnessed someone physically assaulting a person for whatever reason, I’d lose most of the respect I had for them if not all.

But I feel as if there’s this notion amongst people, the mard hazraat especially, that if someone steps on your tail and you teach them a lesson i.e. hit them then you’re THE MAN. Case in point, people applauding The Great Shahrukh for slapping some dude just because he tweeted crap about his crap movie.

I don’t get why such incidents are condoned. Why isn’t he being charged with misdemeanor? Would he still be your hero had he slapped one of your own friends/relatives for *whatever *reason?

Hitting someone may not seem like a big deal when typing away on the net so to put things into the real life perspective, I searched for “physical fight” on youtube and here’s the first video that came up… is this guy a hero too?

Re: Violence & Assault

Did he really do that?

Re: Violence & Assault

first put off… Bollywood examples :nono:

PS…welcum bk..

Re: Violence & Assault

Yup. He hit Farah Khan’s husband. I stalked the dude’s twitter afterwards and people had left all sorts of hate comments for him while cheering for SRK and I was like ermm okay.

I’ve seen so in real life too. Like every Monday my classmates would joke about the stuff that happened in the pubs over the weekend and some of it used to be stuff like “he so gave it to him, they both got kicked out but it was awesome!” :nahi:

PS: Shukriya.

Re: Violence & Assault

I have but one question. Sir, how could she slap?

As for Shahrukh Khan, I would have choked that glittery raisin till he bled through his rear end. But then, that would be violence too, yeh? :-/ To me, it depends on who you are fighting and what you are fighting for. There are times when fighting someone is the right thing to do, and then there are times when its not. There are times when you know you would get beat up, but you have to fight and you have to get beat up. It all depends on the situation and more importantly the motive.

Meesna.
Bollywood fans are crazy in the head anyways, so not surprised about them.

Re: Violence & Assault

that kundar was nagging SRK in that party, even he followed him to washroom.....so u can not say that SRK was at the fault.....

Re: Violence & Assault

LOL...you call it violence and assault?

Re: Violence & Assault

May be I’m just a big scaredy cat. This stuff leaves me scarred! When I was like 9 or10, I saw my maamu breaking into a physical fight with a neighbour who was being a retard, said something nasty about nana abu, and they were both at each other like there’s no tomorrow. Even now, when I see my maamu getting frustrated, I’m like oh God somebody give him some thandi lassi, he’s so short-tempered and I hate it! To this day, I can’t seem to convince myself that he had a valid reason for laying his hands on the guy. It just wasn’t necessary and it was ugly!

Meesna lol. Love it!

There’s a handful of people who are nagging me too. Like really getting on my nerves. Do I have the right to deliver a punch or two? I want you to be in defense team when I do reach that tipping point. Okies?

Or kya kahun.. roses and chocolates? :hehe: Like I said, it doesn’t seem like a big deal until you actually witness two grown-ups assaulting each other.
