Did you watch it?

I do not have the Dish at home so obviously was never aware of that... However, I have heard Dr. Israr Ahmed on these topic several times, on many occassions live especially during Daura-e-Tarjuma-e-Quran and Jumah Sermons in NY... and many times over VHS/Internet...

Would have been interesting to listen to his views now .. must be more knowledge added to what I know from past...

PS: Shahoor meaning Sha'oor.. right? Shahoor sounds more like plural of Shohar :D

I just could not understand most of what he was saying, because their urdu was so intense!!!

sighz I can’t figure out how to get closed caption on my tv screen either. that could help a lot. but i dont think the desi channels have it.

My mother heard the talk and then was asking me lot of questions bout Death and dying patients.

Well I can understand very well what he said and I respect him as well. I also like his teachings. There is no confusion in his teachings.

Dr. Israr also has a daily daras-e-quran program on ARY that comes around 2pm PT. Good program to say the least. ARY’s islamic productions are all top quality stuff, usually devoid of all the Barelvi luncay permeating on other networks…

Anyone who watched the show and understood what he said, please do post here. I got some of his statements, but not most. I don't get the difference between nur and nar as they pertain to the Big Bang.

I saw teh second half. I dont know why Javed Iqbal is even asked to come! He does not make sense at all – ie: Jism and Rooh are one, I do not consider them separate. Justice saab needs to research his father’s poetry (at one point he claimed that Iqbal’s poetry differs from his belief/thought) b/c Israr Ahmed has his homework done well about Iqbal.

They should’ve invited Prof Mehdi Hasan for dialogue with Dr. Israr. It would’ve been worth a watch :k:

Edit: The description of God (noor) was quite an eye-opener. Cant wait to watch the continuation of this program.
