I had a friend that was going thru the same problem. She couldn't have sex for three months after she got married. She was just not comfortable and I think a little scared of the whole thing. But yeah she saw a doc who told her that she has a thing where her vagina closes or tightens as someone mentioned.
You just need to relax your mind and body. Its very normal. Of course the hurting part is usual. If it hurts too much you just need to take a day or two breaks everytime you guys have sex.
