They don’t usually face issues within their family. The issue arises when they are in gatherings. As I explained earlier, none of the sides accept them as their own. Oh and if the two countries are not on good terms with each other , the people you meet keep asking you where your loyalties lie and then either consider you a traitor (when your loyalty doesn’t lie with theirs) or consider you a liar (when your loyalty lies with theirs).
Every other new person I meet asks me about whom I support. I’m tired of answering it over and over. Tired of having to validate my choices to these outsiders.
But, I would never want it to be different because I believe I am not as biased as I would have been if my parents were the same.
