I also demand the expulsion of US and Brithish troops. That will mean violence and massacres on a grand scale, but what other choice is there? Iraqis have had their shot at freedom and self governance and they have thrown it away. Give them what they want.
Actually, it forces all major players to negotiate with each other as none are backed by the US...right now the violence is being dragged on because of American insistence that the Iranis, or other regional players, have no influence in the region. Unlike the other regional players, who are willing to play ball with each other and reach a status quo, Americans think that is beneath them...and so doggedly persue failed policies...which of course means nothing more than an extension of violence.
