Ok here is the list:
- The early eighties; the singer doesn’t move a spot from the stage, usually unedited!
- The late eighties; the singer is still on a stage but moving a little!
- The early nineties; mildly edited but on the stage, with little dancing but no story or theme.
- Mid nineties; off the stage, usually caries a story and a model male/female.
- Late nineties; highly edited, lots of dance moving, mostly a story.
- Present; mixture of 3/4/5 but sometimes hard to follow story.
And the folks (like Pristine Bhai) who can still remember the 70s, please feel free to add on to the list!

70's. Guy is wearing bell bottoms (barey paichey) with wavy hair. B&W T.V. of courseand the female with a shalwar kameez (more like a kurta) with hair tied up in a (big) bun like shape. I'm talking about PTV of course in the early to mid 70's
Pappu yaar tung na kar

For anyone out there who knows those guys that make new pop videos these days, here's the biggest problem with videos these days:
they move to darn fast for our slow minds to comprehend. How about focusing on a shot for more than 1/00000000000 of a second!
Otherwise, story wise, fashionwise, and everythingelsewise, our videos are pretty cool, these days.
