We know, we know. We miss Top Gear](http://www.autoblog.com/tag/top+gear), too. But it’ll be another month or so before the hit BBC program comes back for another season. Fortunately, that’s what Fifth Gear](http://www.autoblog.com/tag/fifth+gear) is for.
The Channel 5 program was launched in 2002 when BBC canceled the original Top Gear. The better-known program came back on later that year, but by then, Channel 5 had already poached a few of Clarkson’s former co-hosts and started its own show.
In the latest segment, former Top Gear host and racing driver Tiff Needell has taken to the wheel of the Porsche 911GT3 RS 4.0 - the ultimate in-car-nation of the previous Elfen - on a wet track. (It is, after all, in England. And it’s not the summer.)
