Re: VIDEO - Ramiz' Lounge - Shoaib Akhter & Kamran Akmal
Shoaib is starting to make me sick. He can't even bowl 10 overs and wants PCB to send him to Australia for another surgery. He's history. Let this attention-whore go.

then why don't you volunteer to pay his contract money from your own pocket. rest of the pak doesn't need to pay for this shameless germ who is a good for nothing crook.
Pretty interesting.
At 6:35 in Part 4, Ramiz is about to tell an incident involving Miandad, Imran, and Viv Richards in 1980/81. Then it is abruptly cut off? Does anyone know of this incident?

Yaar he can atleast hold a conversation with someone unlike some of the dull characters in our cricket team
:@:
yaar don't look so sad, first watch the whole episode*...*....It is not as bad as you think.
*baatein to bari bari kar raha hai Shoaib. *He wants to play for another 4 years and take 400+ wickets in both ODIs and tests. Highly wishful if you ask me for two reasons

Yeah I noticed that too but not sure what that incident was....but the other incident involving Akram, Richards and Imran was quite funny
and it is not just one place, it is atleast two or three places where it is abruptly cut off.

Wants to be recognized and respected as a star yet failed to be a role model.

Re: VIDEO - Ramiz' Lounge - Shoaib Akhter & Kamran Akmal
Akhtar's angrezi is horrible for the most part and I thought he was one of the better English speakers in the Pak team. And he proudly says that he declined Mahesh Bhatt's movie because he was not happy with the money being offered - thank god for that - Shiney Ahuja did a fabulous job in Gangster - the movie, which I liked immensely, would have been frivolous with a character like Akhtar in it.
By the way, having watched these videos and of other guests on this program on YouTube, it was interesting to note that the urdu lingo that Pakistanis speak has a marked rural north Indian cowbelt tinge.
^ Well his angrezi is the least of our worries. His lack of sharam and commitment does annoy everyone though. You must understand that most of these cricketers come from very humble backgrounds with little or no schooling to speak of. They have not learnt grammar at school like most of us have. Most of the things they say are words/phrases/sentences that they have picked up during conversations with other people. So not a lot of thought goes into what they are saying. Same goes for Mushy and many others.
When I said that I liked the programme, I was n't condoning Shoaib's recent attitude. He is not the least bit repentant about his past. It is clear that he has not changed one bit or even has the desire to mend his ways. He expects things for granted and seems greedy about money. During these cash-strapped times for PCB (with little or no revenue generated over the past 18m. or so), he should not expect to enjoy all the benefits and full salary regardless of how much he is giving back to the country. In almost every interview that I have seen of him, Shoaib claims to be fitter than before and brags about his fitness training, cycling etc. only to break down in the next game and the cycle continues. I had some sympathy for him during the chucking controversy - everyone can clearly see that his forearm goes well beyond the normal 90 degrees at the elbow to around 120-130 degrees in resting position - but because of his recent attitude and behaviour and his recurring fitness troubles, I feel he has almost become a liability for everyone. We must look beyond him. We don't need free loaders like him.
