Video quality differences?

Hi Friends,

my wedding is on feb and video is the most important aspect. DSLR is my first choice but now thinking of going with high def.

Can anyone tell me the difference b/w “standard camera, high definition camera & DSLR” videos as all the studios I visited charge like " standard cam 15000, high def 25000 and DSLR 35000 per day, so is it worth it.

2 things like to understand.

  1. any major picture quality b/w standard and high def.

2 any major picture quality b/w high definition and DSLR.

Also do u need to have a Blue Ray player for High def.

What would u suggest.

Dslr is a single lens camera...

I have heard of it but never tried it... The photographer that we hired for my sis her wedding will use this camera type... He told us that the pix will b more clear than Hd cam.. So lets see

N for HD u dont need a blue ray player... U can use a normal one tom.mdepends on what disc the movie will b put on
