Although we’re clear on what the McLaren P1 is packing outside, we still have no idea what’s happening in the cockpit. McLaren has given us a teaser with a short clip of the reconfiguring, digital dash gauge.
From the 47-second video it appears that in one setup there’s a 9,000-rpm redline, with a gear indicator and “Manual” identifier to the right. Or if you’re feeling racy you can have the gear indicator in the center and a row of green, red and blue lights, Formula One-style that replaces the tach display above, the speedometer then relegated to the corner. The gauge can also show an image of the car and the rear wing deploying.
