What video game systems are the commonly played ones in Pakistan? Also do they have arcades still there? Here in US they practically have been phased out

umm my mom just got some gameboy advance games, so i am assuming that they have gameboy there. not DS thought. no DS games. and i think my neph said something about a PS2. So again, assuming that it's there as well. though, you can get 2 number ki games there too.

in pakistan.. u have internet cafes filled with people, playing multiplayer Medal of Honor, or batttlefield or some other fighting game, on LAN. Then they form clans and play people at internet cafes in other cities. its quite cheap too.
u can buy almost all the systems there, including PS2 + its games. u can also get it chipped & it will play copied games.

you can get anything in Pakistan, really. I got my PS2 modded over there for like 20 rupees at park towers in Karachi. I bought games like crazy. They also had Xbox, though it wasn't that popular, I don't know about Xbox Live though. I saw arcade games at Daisy Hotel in Changlagali, up over by Muree. I also played games at Tornado in Islamabad, which is an internet cafe.

If it were possible than why waste all the money on new technology such Blu-Ray and HD-DVD when they could just go to Pakistan and get their CD Players modded to do the same thing? That's ridiclous.

I like to say is that video games in pakistan are purchased without instructions and games cannot be played in their full potential so a very good game becomes a very boring one for gamers without instructions. all most all playstations tend to be chipped because most games for them are pirated and ill affordable at a full price. problems on a chipped console is that the pirated games take more than several times to boot up. thus can be frustrating. however i hear the 3rd gen console ps3 is going to be tamper proof so chipping is gonna be impossible. the ps3 is going to be avaliable in uk in november.
